Hello, my name is Katie. I am a happy wife and proud mom of two energetic little farm kids and love living our life on our family dairy farm.

I grew up north of Toronto on a dairy farm and after studying Agriculture at the University of Guelph, I met my dairy-farming husband Jeremy. We have lived together on the farm since 2008 and were married in 2011.

We became parents in 2013, when our daughter was born and were excited to welcome our son in 2015. Our kids have grown up loving to play outside on the farm and in the barn and enjoy tractor rides with their Daddy. As they grow we hope that they continue to love the cows and the farm as much as we do!

I have recently started my own business as a skincare consultant with Rodan + Fields. I am excited about this new venture and about sharing these amazing products with my friends and family. The opportunities for personal development through this new business are amazing and I look forward to growing my business in months to come.

I also work full-time as a Student Recruitment Co-ordinator and enjoy my busy role where I get to promote careers and education in Agriculture to young people. Through my role in student recruitment I have the opportunity to engage with many youth and encourage them to consider careers in the industry that I am so passionate about.

Recently, I started an online certificate course in Social Media. The flexibility of taking this course part-time, online has been a great source of new knowledge to challenge my learning and grow my skills. Social Media is such a large part of what we do, in my new business, in my role in student recruitment and in our day-to-day family life and our farm, staying connected and being able to share information so readily is an amazing tool when used effectively!

I love sharing the truth about Agriculture and teaching people about the true story behind where their food comes from. Through this blog I hope to share many details about life on the farm.

This blog will be an opportunity to share stories about our family’s adventures on our dairy farm, life raising two happy little farm-kids and adventures as a new business owner.

I hope you enjoy following our life on the farm!
